Congratulations to the Graduating Class of 2023!! Your hard work and determination have paid off. We knew you could have done it and we are proud of you. Now it is time to celebrate this significant milestone, even in this unprecedented time when the world was grappling with COVID-19 and its impact.
Presentation of Graduates
The Ceremony will be streamed live on YouTube and Facebook. Date: Thursday, February 22, 2024 4:00 p.m. at Jamaica Conference Centre.
Criteria for Graduation
Students will ONLY be listed as graduands if they meet the following criteria:
- Successful completion of all components of the programme of study (including Work Experience, Social Outreach, and First Aid Training for students in the School of THEM)
- Fulfilment of all financial obligations to the College.
Excelsior Community College is a registered institution with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Information (MoEYI) in Jamaica, and the University Council of Jamaica (UCJ), the local accreditation body.
Excelsior Community College obtained Candidacy for Institutional Accreditation in March 2019 from the UCJ. As such, our programmes curricula are developed in alignment with the UCJ’s and recognized industries occupational standards. Additionally, our programmes are aligned to the Jamaica Tertiary Education Commission (J-TEC), the National Qualifications Framework of Jamaica (NQF-J) and certifications are to be offered by the Council of Community Colleges of Jamaica (CCCJ).
